Lily-Rose Depp is fashion’s new “it” girl, and she now has a Chanel campaign to prove it.
Ever since she stepped foot on the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in New York this March, in a fresh-off-the-runway couture look, it was determined that the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis will take the fashion world by storm, and not only because of her parents either. Now, as if her baby doll face and American girl attitude made the world stop… and carried on, Lily-Rose Depp captured the attention of editors, bloggers, and a certain Chanel head going by the name of Karl Lagerfeld.
After making an underaged trip to the Chanel aw15 haute couture pop-up casino just last week and playing a few round of roulettes with stars along the line of Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins, and even her own mother, another famed Chanel muse, Lily-Rose solidified her new role as the next it-girl with a high fashion modeling debut as the new face of Chanel. Looking absolutely gorgeous in that luxe cool girl aura, Chanel released a sneak peek earlier today of Lily-Rose Depp as the star of the house’s new autumn-winter eyewear campaign.
At only 16, with an Oyster Magazine editorial in her portfolio and a major movie role in the works, Lily-Rose is just proving to be unstoppable. Who knows? Maybe a mother-daughter fashion campaign will be popping up in the future.
